This is a solid record from Joey Bada$$ which I think got some unnecessary heat after coming off the heels of his rap battle against the Ray Vaughn and the whole west coast. I do see the valid criticism of the tone of the album after the battle, but I think it was just bad timing. While I was listening, I had the thought that this probably would have had a different reception in the hip hop community if it had come out before the beef rather than after. Still not among the strongest albums in an absolutely stacked year for hip hop in 2025, but still a great album in my opinion.
