Lithia is a shoegaze-pop singer from Chicago, and she's got the style down too, with loud guitars, heavy reverb, very nice (even "pretty") vocals, plus the ever-so-occasional dark tonalities, and the smart avoidance of "bubbly" synth sounds while still delivering hooks and melody where they're called for. There's a strong hint of Americana/folk sensibility here too, which might not be to everyone's tastes, and admittedly her voice might be a little too reedy for the material (she sounds just like Patsy Cline)... but a few years of chain-smoking and other self-destructive behaviors should take care of that well enough. Highly recommended!
