Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 3% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 77.2/100, a mean average of 76.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.4/100. The standard deviation for this album is 16.2.

The late comers to the new wave now have adapted to the '90s and once again arrive a bit late to the techno/house party... but they're much better at it luckily. Their new wave roots shine through now and then, but the cringe is gone; they might've used it to enhance the eerieness, but if that's on purpose will remain a mystery. The result is electronic music that is only barely above average. It sounds like an '80s album that's lost in the '90s: it's fun, and would work well in the right club, but other than that, you can skip this one if you're looking for the highlights of '90s electronica.
After watching trainspotting, I had to dig into the group behind Born Slippy. Normally I'm not the biggest fan of electronic music with vocals but every track is downright addicting.
Fav Track: Mmm Skyscraper I love you
One of the coolest rave-style albums I've come across. Its so well crafted and produced, and has a really varied and yet consistently big sound. I think Cowgirl and ME are the highlights for me, with River of Bass being a very interesting and standout track for its dreaminess. Great album
85/100 (Very Good)
Tiring, I propably wouldn't last listening to whole album at once, although it has its moments (M.E)
Great album, not always a fan of vocals in electronic music but they work well here :)
I bought Dubnobasswithmyheadman by Underworld on 28/09/2002 from on CD for £2.99 The version I have is on the record label JBO catalogue number JBO1001992 It entered the UK charts on 05/02/1994 and got to number 12 spending a total of 4 weeks on the chart.
Great electronic album!
The best 1-hour electronic acid trip ever!
A personal favourite which reminds of misspent youth, if you catch my drift?
