I really don't see how Sonic Youth going into a punctuation mark can be compared to the song Cut Your Hair.

If you look up "cool" in the dictionary, you will find only a photo of Steve Malkmus kicking Lady Gaga in the balls, while simultaneously shotgunning a six-pack, and receiving fellatio from a trio of Japanese schoolgirls. Also, he is playing guitar.

This is miles better than Slanted & Enchanted. I thought it'd be bad, but this is really unexcpected great stuff. Like Nirvana's MTV Unplugged mixed with Guided By Voice's Bee Thousand. Might be on my chart one day....

Some of the best rock and roll ever made sounds like it was made in the garage. That's really where most of them got started...kudos to those who don't forget their origins.

I've had Gold Soundz stuck in my head for the last three days "because it's secret-cret cret cret cret cret cret cret cret right now!" This album was quite an eye (ear) opener when I first heard it.
