Even Ringo's solo career has its fair share of good moments and this album is not just a must-have for the fact it is the only post-Beatles album with all four members reunited (although never on the same song). Seriously. An excellent, near flawless, fun ride, with an impressive cast of "all-starrs".

Fresh and poppy, "beatley" in the best possible sense, this is a rare beast indeed: an utterly satisfying Ringo Starr album.

Ringo and country music have always gone well together. But still, I can't quite believe how good this album is. A beauty, and one of his very best post-Beatles.

Good songs, palpable pleasure at recording them, excellent musicianship, Beatlesesque self-references galore,... Very enjoyable.
