Bleach is their rawest, most heavy and intense album. It's hard to give the #1 spot to the only one without Dave Grohl, but this album is just too good. The lyrics didn't matter at all here, it's all in the music. [First added to this chart: 11/13/2018]

I love this album. I really do. Why is it their worst? I don't know... Musically speaking, this is by far their least interesting record. Bleach had raw, heavy production, In Utero was artistically dark and musically unique, MTV unplugged is just beautiful. When you put this record in context of the rest of their catalog, it's just not as interesting. [First added to this chart: 11/13/2018]
