Halifax Pop Explosion
by

In the early 90s, Halifax Nova Scotia looked like it could become the new Seattle. And why not? Both cities had gray, wet weather, a big fishing industry and many universities. Both cities had new and exciting bands catching regional interest. Alas, Halifax was not to become the 'next big thing'... but maybe that was for the best. The music that came from that scene is still dynamite.
This chart features the bands and artists born of the Halifax Pop Explosion, including their releases they made later in their careers.
