Equally excellent to Part 1. Top notch musicianship. Recommend the vinyl even though it comes in at three sides and not in a gatefold like Part 1.

I bought this on vinyl, prior to the gig at Howard Jones concert in Cardiff. I am so pleased that I did, it is an excellent album which grows with each listen. The concert was excellent, full of energy, just like this album. It is a testament to Howard Jones musicianship that he has managed to produce an album in 2019 which sounds fresh and futuristic just like his eighties output did. Hats off to China Crisis who gave a really great performance on the night too.

This is the second album I bought by Coldplay, going backward from their 2021 release. This is an excellent album with an almost modern progressive feel. I will be going back further into their catalogue, they seem to be a band capable of releasing quite different albums which I like.

Excellent album by a pair of amazing multi instrumentalists. These guys are as equally at home with an accordion and mandolin as they are with a pair of Roland A88's and Apple Mac's. I recently saw them on tour where they were the support band and backing band for Midge Ure. The two quite different music genres complimented each other perfectly. Highly recommend this.

Excellent 'modern' progressive album. Roine Stolt is an impressive guitarist and has a rather unique vocal style which fits The Flower Kings and supergroup Transatlantic. The music rises and falls, twists and turns in true progressive style.

This is a superb album where with each listen more will be heard. I can see this shooting to pole position in the Tim Bowness section of this chart quite quickly. Much more punchy that his other albums. Great instrumentation with a good mix of acoustic sounds and state of the art synth textures/leads.

Modern Psychedelia. A return to form from Gong. With Daevid now in his grave the band can explore new territory without feeling held back. I loved the early Gong albums so am not disrespecting Daevid Allen. Things need to move forwards though. Sometimes.

Excellent album from Dream Theatre with stunning musicianship throughout. What is good is that the drums aren't stealing the shown like on so many of the earlier albums.

Progressive Space Rock. Has taken a bit of getting into. The more I listen to it the more I like it. Musically it is a really good album but the vocals let it down a bit on some tracks, for example 'Last Living Man On Earth'.

Reminds me of early Dream Theatre in parts. One of those artists where the one album will be enough for me, but I do like it. I have the vinyl and the four sides back to back can get a little bit tedious and predictable in parts. I almost get a sense that too much has been thrown at it to make it a success. The vocalist guest list is pretty impressive. For me, if it had been stripped back a bit more I would probably like it even more. Bordering on opeatic metal.
