I bought this on vinyl, prior to the gig at Howard Jones concert in Cardiff. I am so pleased that I did, it is an excellent album which grows with each listen. The concert was excellent, full of energy, just like this album. It is a testament to Howard Jones musicianship that he has managed to produce an album in 2019 which sounds fresh and futuristic just like his eighties output did. Hats off to China Crisis who gave a really great performance on the night too.

This is the second album I bought by Coldplay, going backward from their 2021 release. This is an excellent album with an almost modern progressive feel. I will be going back further into their catalogue, they seem to be a band capable of releasing quite different albums which I like.

Excellent album by a pair of amazing multi instrumentalists. These guys are as equally at home with an accordion and mandolin as they are with a pair of Roland A88's and Apple Mac's. I recently saw them on tour where they were the support band and backing band for Midge Ure. The two quite different music genres complimented each other perfectly. Highly recommend this.

This is a superb album where with each listen more will be heard. I can see this shooting to pole position in the Tim Bowness section of this chart quite quickly. Much more punchy that his other albums. Great instrumentation with a good mix of acoustic sounds and state of the art synth textures/leads.

Progressive Space Rock. Has taken a bit of getting into. The more I listen to it the more I like it. Musically it is a really good album but the vocals let it down a bit on some tracks, for example 'Last Living Man On Earth'.

Excellent compilation from this sixties psychedelic band. A real range of styles, the two extremes of which are clearly apparent with tracks 2 and 3 on side two of the vinyl. Jeff Lynne of later ELO fame led this band but not to the level of success ELO would enjoy. Roy Wood, who is named against only one track 'Here We Go Round the Lemon Tree' left in 1966 to form The Move, a band who did enjoy success. This clear vinyl compilation with very sixties sleeve will no doubt be worth a bit as the times of sand shift. It is the most I have ever spent on a new vinyl album so I hope the investment pays off!
