Agalloch are an Oregon extreme metal band who often write slow and distressing compositions. Their primary styles include folk metal, black metal and post-metal. Agalloch disbanded after five albums, but cemented themselves as staples of modern metal with "The Mantle" and "Ashes Against the Grain."
