Woods's incredible run continues, with this being his best since at least Hiding Places - Segal brings a different vibe here with a mix of jazzy and subterranean beats, but woods is as locked in as ever and the guest verses are perfect. [First added to this chart: 05/07/2023]

Despite a middle passage that's dragged down by too many interludes, this is Liturgy's best since The Ark Work (still my favorite, though I know it's reputation is poor) thanks to a refinement of their formula that sees choral vocals and piano, among other things, layered into their transcendental sound. Really dig the garage beats, and pretty much every track is a banger.

First album from these guys I've liked, the gospel elements really draw me in. [First added to this chart: 03/30/2023]

I love the shuffling "High School Gym," but while the rest is pleasant it is also much safer than his excellent last album. [First added to this chart: 04/05/2023]

I liked this at first but the ambient portions weighed on me more heavily with each listen, if you trimmed some of them away I think this would be a better listen, though I also know they're what gives the album much of its character. [First added to this chart: 05/07/2023]

I like this because it uses a lot of common slowcore tropes, but it doesn't do much new with those tropes and the loud moments don't always feel earned. [First added to this chart: 03/30/2023]

This is the closest Lana has come to the sprawl and catharsis of NFR since that album's release, and I wish it didn't rely so heavily on piano ballads because it makes it feel a bit too thin - the production is lusher on a few of the pop tracks but they stick out like a sore thumb and honestly the best-sounding moment is the reprise of "Venice Bitch" at the end. Dense mixture of post punk and hip hop that I liked quite a bit on first listen, but subsequent listens have shown the spoken word interludes and genre experiments make it meander a bit too much. [First added to this chart: 04/16/2023]

Kind of reminds me of Kelly Lee Owens's Inner Song with its mixture of techno and art pop, I just wish it got into more of a groove because "So Hard To Tell" is really the only song that stands out. [First added to this chart: 04/26/2023]
