Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 89.0/100, a mean average of 88.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 89.6/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.4.

Uma das melhores canções da banda!
I'd go as far as to call this song the definitive rock song and the definitive song of the 70s. What makes this song so amazing is it perfectly sums up to what being a 70s teenager rocker and outcast. Steven Tyler perfectly encapsulated the whole decade to me in this song. But thats just what I get from it, what do I know, I'm just some 16 yo kid looking back on this 40 years later.
What a weir song. I've listened to it many times and I still can't figure out why this is one of Aerosmith's three super-ultimate hits.

What Aerosmith could do back in the day commercially was unlike other bands. This is a great hit single. Steven Tyler: Grandfather of Hip Hop?
