This compilation serves to show just how great Aerosmith USED to be. The first disc is great and shows some really good variety, covering blues, psychedelia and balls-to-wall-rock, but the second disc shows the band moving into ballad territory and ultimately running out of ideas. All in all a good album to have for casual Aerosmith fans (like me), but would probably stick to the earlier albums for listeners looking for more.
