Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Not great by Stones standards, but not a throwaway either. This was rightfully a minor hit.
Mick's not too thrilled with the 'dole' culture in the U.K. Still, it's a thoroughly enjoyable song, insanely catchy, and another fine moment on a brilliant, albeit hotchpotch album.
