Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track has a Bayesian average rating of 72.2/100, a mean average of 70.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 71.9/100. The standard deviation for this track is 15.9.

This album is half Unforgettable Fire and half Forgettable Fire. This track certainly fits in to the latter category. Really pointless, don't know what it adds to the album. and it's too long too.
Not a fan of this track but Craola has a point about the Cocteau Twins to be honest.
I don't know if this song is beautiful. It is certainly the strangest of the album. It seems confused, messy, almost improvised. Yet it has something bewitching, even mesmerizing. Six minutes of stunning with a truly gorgeous final crescendo.
some days, i wake up fully convinced of this track's brilliance. other days, it's absolute rubbish. brian eno wanted this on the album, and in spite of their protests, the band caved. i think it's important to think of this as a documentation of their process rather than a finished product. bono is ad libbing this, as he did with songs before he'd penned out the lyrics, so it's meandering, messy, cumbersome... and the band is basically just grooving for six minutes. it's not as bad as people make it out to be but not the stuff of legend either. hell, this is the sort of track cocteau twins get praised up and down for: experimental, ambient, ethereal pop music with incoherent vocals. still, the end result is a bit mixed.
Wtf is with the production on this song? Especially since overall this record is well produced
The worst song on this album
The only song on this album I dislike. Also, too long.
never really liked this one much
