At first, this song kind of snuck past me for the most part. But giving it another undivided listen, every syllable is brilliant. We all have our ideas and examples of what impossible beauty is and with the lines “And I wish that I was made of stone so that I wouldn’t have to see, a beauty impossible to define, a beauty impossible to believe” he’s able to hit us all where we feel it the most.
Brompton is another example of this record having simple, amazing little gems all over it.
