Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. One of Reg & Bernie's most underrated songs. One of his downbeat and reflective numbers, but feels sincere... heartfelt... Maybe a look in the mirror?? And for better or worse George Michael based the first half of his solo career on this sound. In fact I think maybe he's living this song now.
