Like Michelle, Girl has a hint of Paris about it. It's a lovely song, albeit quite dark lyrically, and with John Lennon's inhales during the song it is one of the Beatles first truly atmospheric tracks. Excellent song.
love how he sings that "ah, girl" and making that breathing sound of lust

I like the Greek influence in the "She's the kind of girl who puts you down..." bridge. Lennon's gritty ballad at its grittiest.
