I like how the main feeling is kept constant throughout the song while there are sub parts on top which change to switch things up every once and a while
Instrumentation is top-notch in this song.
Hands down one of Zeppelin's greatest compositions. The slide guitar, drums, and bass play in such a perfect unison that is simply stunning. Robert Plant's vocals are a little hard to understand, but they're still amazingly powerful and hard hitting. This one took time, but when it clicked it immediately became one of my favorites.

One of Zeppelin's longest songs. Luckily, Zeppelin is skilled enough to make any length song good, and In My Time of Dying is no exception. Great drumming, vocals, bass, and of course guitar. It's their adaptation of an old gospel song.
