Average Rating = (n ÷ (n + m)) × av + (m ÷ (n + m)) × AVwhere:

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 3% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 83.1/100, a mean average of 82.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 83.2/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.8.

You know I just love this song - the bass is really good
A throwaway. But still a good listen. The bass and that weird flute /trumpet mellotron effect are the highlights.
Very good song
Honestly might be my favorite Beatles song, The lyrics the music, everything works together, I absolutely love it.
Probably the weakest of the Magical mystery tour album tracks, at least the second side anyway. The B-side to the All you need is love single, it's John Lennon's 'tribute' to all the 'beautiful people'. It's not bad, just a bit forgetful and probably not in anyone's Beatles top ten.
A fun song overall with some nice tidbits, still the only place I've heard a clavioline. These guys were always developing new and interesting sounds!
great one
Really enjoyed the vocals. Fun song.
