Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 1% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 85.5/100, a mean average of 84.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 85.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.4.

three of the songs are previously released singles
and the 2 george songs are terrible
however the rest of the album is good (Edited)
1967 was just the top year for the Beatles with both this plus Sgt Peppers being two of the greatest albums ever released. An amazing achievement. Hence why the Beatles are one of the greatest bands ever. EVER!!!! (Edited)
This was shortlisted for album of the year at the Grammy's in 1969. The eventual winner was By The Time I Get To Phoenix by Glenn Campbell (Edited)
Quite simply, this album does what Sgt. Pepper tries to do. This is peak psychedelic Beatles, and the height of what everyone was expressing in the Summer of Love. Too bad George’s song is the worst. Don’t worry, he’ll get better songs. (Edited)
Overrated for me, not one of their best. All You Need Is Love, The Fool On The Hill and Hello Goodbye are great but there's too many tracks that don't offer anything for me. (Edited)
