Unparalleled in its beauty, somehow Van sounds a little more exposed here, a touch more fragile than usual. Then he sees those rainbow ribbons.
One of the album's true blues-folk tunes. Van's vocals are magnificent as always, and the violin in the background is wonderful. Not a huge fan of the harpsichord sound in general, so it gets a bit annoying as it gets used throughout all seven minutes of the track. Still well worth a listen or two.
