Man! The vocal delivery of this song gets me every time! Sure I hear the near hysteria that Hozier sings with, but he brings to mind soul-shouters from days gone by like Wilson Pickett and Solomon Burke. I wish I could belt like him! Yes, it got overplayed on the radio, but I'll never get sick of it.

It got really overplayed, but it's still a cool song. The lyrics are really metaphorical.
