This song is mainstream within my friends at the moment. How awesome is that. One of my friends whos fav artists are Flo Rida and KeSha recently came up to me and said do you know this cool old school track I found. Then I realised it was Wish You Were Here. For the few minutes the song played we had a bromance. Then it ended after the next song in the playlist was KeSha. (Edited)

Sometimes I love this site. And then I read something like "the Avril Lavigne "Wish You Were Here" is better than the Pink Floyd song of the same name"... and I remember that this site is not perfect after all. The only thing Avril Lavigne will ever have on Pink Floyd is looks. Barely. THIS "Wish You Were Here" is a masterpiece. (Edited)

Such a beautiful song. The lyrics are so tender and well written, while the music is calming, longing and dreamy at the same time. I love the intro guitar as well, really tasteful. Pink Floyd would rarely again reach the quality of this song. (Edited)

There are few songs so powerful than this one. The slow beginning, the crazy lyrics and outcry, the magical come down. The words "I wish you were here" have a special meaning to every human being ever. (Edited)
