Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 84.4/100, a mean average of 85.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 85.4/100. The standard deviation for this track is 9.9.

Probably my favourite off the album, although there's so many great tracks here that it isn't a given. This one stands out for me though - was the first track I heard randomly which prompted me to listen to the whole 3 hr+ extravaganza from start to finish. This song has some awesome interplay, complex time feel changes and the soloing is amazing. There is so much going on yet it is astonishingly cohesive. Thundercat (I think) plays the electric six-string bass in this and his solo is extraordinary - and while Kamasi's sax solo is awesome I think Thundercat outshines everyone (sorry Kamasi). The freakish drumming and percussion drive the whole thing to a new level.
Remind me of a jazz song from sinatra or so
My favorite song on the album. Love the cosmopolitan vibe and Kamasi's solo is spectacular.
