This song becomes pretty huge in not a lot of time, but it somehow just continues to expand. It keeps growing and growing and becoming something more spiritual and meaningful until it’s planetary and engulfing, boasting its own gravity.
With this track, Kamasi Washington ascends to destinations as high as the ones illustrated on the album’s cover. A spectacular sonic achievement.
