Gary,
Even the stupid teachers are getting all riled up about Scott Walker's planned unarming and destruction of the union. And that would be just one tiny drop in the bucket.
I personally don't care about the teachers, they should all be fired. Especially MPS (Milwaukee Public Schools). Those ghetto apes, and porch monkeys are impossible to educate anyways.
But seriously Gary, it isn't Obama's fault, the country is to big to fail. We will spend until we are spending 100% GDP, internationally no one nation can stand up to us. So does it really matter how much we spend?
It's 2 in the morning, so this might sound crazy but, we should have entitlements for businesses, we will give the business enough money every week to pay their American employees paychecks! Or something like that, maybe not the entire paycheck (haha) this will bring more jobs. It will probably put us trillions more in debt, but what can the banks do? Or the Fed? not give the government more loans? I'm sure we can create another entity to print our money.
but yea that last paragraph was just a silly idea

First, can you please not call Shankly a "Socialist". Do you even know what it means?
A definition from the dictionary: a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.
It's definition from Wikipedia: Socialism is an economic and political theory advocating public or common ownership and cooperative management of the means of production and allocation of resources. A socialist society is a social structure organized on the basis of relatively equal power-relations, self-management, dispersed decision-making (adhocracy) and a reduction or elimination of hierarchical and bureaucratic forms of administration and governance; the extent of which varies in different types of socialism. This ranges from the establishment of cooperative management structures in the economy to the abolition of all hierarchical structures in favor of free association.
Socialism is hard to define, the Wikipedia definition sounds libertarian and anarchist and communist to me. To even have a government would be considered socialist, and we can't have a country without a government it would be anarchy. So yes we should ALL be considered socialists for being American citizens because we in theory control the government through voting and paying taxes. There are many different types of socialism, so your inaccurate slur "Socialist" is ignorant. |
Umm excuse me jbarajas but, are you trying to give me a lesson on the types of government?
First, Wikipedia can bugger off. Secondly, Socialism is a collective or government ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods. Who are you to question what I consider Mr. Shankly to be when you say quote "yes we ALL should be considered socialists for being American citizens" Umm, you called me a socialist?
I will take some time out of my life to teach you something jbarajas. You live in Wisconsin, one of 50 states that make up the REPUBLIC of America. We are not a Democracy nor are we a socialist nation (at least we were never intended to be such) we are a REPUBLIC NOT A SOCIALIST STATE. I would not have fought for America in battle if this were a socialist or communist nation. I fought for our constitution wich is what gives us our FREEDOM FROM TYRANNY. Do you know what TYRANNY is jbarajas? Anyway.
A REPUBLIC is a government in which SUPREME POWER resides in a body of CITIZENS who elect representatives RESPONSIBLE TO THEM and governing according to law (constitution) have you read our U.S. Constitution Jbarajas? Does it give you in any way the impression that our Federal government should be telling us what to do, making us buy health insurance, and redistributing wealth?
While I'm playing teacher I have one more word lesson for you Jbarajas. That word is CAPITALISM. Capitalism is an economic system with PRIVATE OWNERSHIP of capital goods. Determined by competition in a FREE MARKET.
Now I know, by your age, that you grew up in a world that has tried to tell you that capitalism is bad. And that the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is your all knowing all powerful God that will solve all your problems, tell you what and how much to eat, take your money and give it to others because you "OWE" it to them for various reasons that I won't go into on here. Yes I get angry at times on here but I love my country, fought for my country as my Father did, and I have seen this country get weaker and weaker and getting more and more away from our constitution and what our founding Fathers had intended for America. Things like no taxation without representation. And for the people BY THE PEOPLE. _________________ .

Not really crazy but we can't keep printing money and expect other nations to accept our worthless Monopoly money. And I can think of one nation that for certain can stand up to us, and God help us if, or when, they do. CHINA
Ya, I know all about the Milwaukee public school system and what it's full of. 4 of my cousins went to schools on the north side of the city. One went to Washington High School, can't remember the other schools names. I was lucky, I went to grade school in West Allis and High school in Greenfield. _________________ .

Thanks J. I appreciate your defense, but don't you know that anyone who is a Democrat is a socialist? It's true. all you need to to do is listen to the truth tellers, like Fox News and great patriots like Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck, and of course, Gary himself, to understand that fact. In fact, when you register to be a Democrat, you get a complementary copy of the Communist Manifesto, a Russian Cossack hat and a hammer and sickle flag button to pin on your lapel. It's great! Of course, you have to agree to be known as "Comrade" henceforth and to attend mandatory union meetings where we Democrats chant slogans such as these: "Down with the Bourgeoisie!, Workers unite! Long live the Proletariat!" It's all true. I try to wear red at least five times a week and attend my one mandatory worker's strike each month, as well. It's all part of being a Democrat.
Hey Gary,
Can you let us know what your last name is? That way, if some federal building blows up somewhere, someone can identify you as a potential suspect.

GARY wrote: | Mr. Shankly wrote: | I'd like to pose a question to you, Gary and to any other conservative deficit hawks:
Would you be willing to totally give up your social security (that you paid into your whole life) in order to help cut the deficit? What about medicare? What about the tax cuts that are once again, unsubsidized? What is something that matters to you that the government provides fiscally that you would be willing to sacrifice to reduce the deficit?
This is all I want to know. Feel free to post a long rambling tirade about how Obama single- handedly created the deficit, but I'm only interested in your answer to the question above. |
Mr. Shankly if you actually read and comprehended my simple and factual statements you would know that yes, in fact, Nobama single handedly created HIS Federal Budget. When did I say he single handedly created the defict? Please do not put words in my mouth. But then again, you are a socialist, so ya I expect that from you because you can't debate me on the actual facts and issues. You live in a fairy tail world where you think that you can forever keep spending other peoples money. Yes I've paid into social secutity for 30 years now. Now really Mr. Shankly do you really think that I will ever see a dime of social security when I'm old enough to collect it? I don't give a shit about SS 401K or any of all the "green" bullshit you tree huggers talk about and you dumbasses who believe Al Gore's nonsense about how we are causing global warming which isn't real anyway. Yes I will give up EVERY dam bit of our waaay oversized Federal Government and just keep a military WITHIN THE U.S. to defend Americans and Secure the fucking border (even though I know you socialists don't want to do that because all of the illegel "immigrants" (in my world they are criminals) vote for your Democratic (socialist) leaders who save the whole world exept for American born AMERICAN'S. What the Hell good are all of your socialist handouts going to do for you and your far left wacko buddies when the DOLLAR COLLAPSES and we suddenly can't afford food, rent, and unemployment hits 40% like in Egypt? WAKE THE FUCK UP WE ARE A BROKE NATION AND CAN'T AFFORD OBAMA'S 3.8 TRILLION DOLLAR "BUDGET' Do you understand that Mr. Shankly? The PARTY IS OVER. THE GRAVY TRAIN CAME OFF THE TRACKS. You ask me what I'm willing to give up from the government. GET RID OF ALL OF IT. Here is a question for you Mr. Shankly. What good does it do to keep buying things for your house and paying your electric bills and gas bills and buying big screen TV's and stocking your fridge full of steaks and giving huge amounts of money to your neighbors so they will make nice and pretend they are your friends when they actually hate you and would rather slaughter your whole family if YOU CAN'T AFFORD YOUR OWN HOUSE ANYMORE? Do you understand what I'm asking you Mr. Shankly? What the fuck good is all of our huge nanny government programs that take care of and control (what once were) a "free" people when WE ARE BROKE AND OUR SHIP IS SINKING ? |
Yes. Let's cut ALL spending for health, education, childcare, care for the old or anything else that may benefit the general population and use all available tax money to give to banks so we do not jeopardize the bonuses for their executives. Not until the day Goldman Sachs has ALL of our money can we be truly free.
