Search bar for forum threads

I was just thinking about the forums having a search bar for the threads. It'd be much easier to search for a specific thread through a title match than to go through the depths of the forums just to search for one thread that might be important for one user later. I know new threads are being made everyday and I know that some are closed, so if we can accept which kind of threads that could be eligible for this kind of service. Like threads that are over 3 days old and haven't been updated. If you have any objections please express them.

There is already a search function for the forums. It's in between the "FAQ" and "Members" buttons toward the top of your screen when you're on the forums.

However, while we're on the subject, I've always thought it would be nice to have a 'search by thread title' option. Right now I believe we can only search for keywords, but results with those words in the body of the thread will appear as well.

I don't want to open a new thread, so I'll just put it here.

I think it would be really helpful if we could search for posts from a certain user within a thread. Like, sometimes I want to find my own posts in a thread, but I can only do it by clicking through the pages in the thread. Right now we have the function to search for an author, but not within a thread - it also doesn't work if you type in the thread title in the keyword field.
