it's surprisingly good for being a few albums past their "new artist freshness date".

Good to hear that Pains still haven't lost it. I missed their recent NYC show. I've known those guys for years, and the current lineup is really solid. My old friends Christoph and Anton both joined for this record. They've got another dreampop project called Ablebody which is pretty good

i don't see that many concerts, but i was impressed by their set about 4 (?) years ago when they did monolith fest up here in the mtns. _________________ fav artists NOW | ALL-TIME favs | i listen 2 more music than u so u don't have 2!

I think there are a few Wussy (ie. the most underrated band ever and possibly the most consistent band on the planet right now) fans on here, but hopefully this will increase that number. Their new album is to be released on 6 May, but it is up for streaming on their band camp page, here:

A few tracks in and this is very, very good. Quite a bit heavier than their previous albums, but still just as good. I can see this being very high on my year chart, glad it's not disappointing.
EDIT- after finishing it for the first time, my early thoughts were proved to be correct. Fantastic album.
