Been listening to this a couple of times today and would definitely recommend it. My favourite track so far is "Beautiful You". Really hope this new album raises their profile further!

Good to hear that Pains still haven't lost it. I missed their recent NYC show. I've known those guys for years, and the current lineup is really solid. My old friends Christoph and Anton both joined for this record. They've got another dreampop project called Ablebody which is pretty good

Yeah. They've come a long long way since I first saw them.

Red Rocks seems like such an amazing place to see a show. I love that landscape

Lots of interesting new releases out today.

All 4 of these are worth a listen. Still haven't gotten to the new ones by Wye Oak, Nat Baldwin and Olds 97s, but I have to assume they're all pretty decent.

Shrink Dust by Chad VanGaalen

Everyday Robots by Damon Albarn

Get Back by Pink Mountaintops

Refractory Obdurate by Wovenhand

and then there's the Pixies album...

I think there are a few Wussy (ie. the most underrated band ever and possibly the most consistent band on the planet right now) fans on here, but hopefully this will increase that number. Their new album is to be released on 6 May, but it is up for streaming on their band camp page, here:

http://wussy.bandcamp.com/album/attica-...-downloads

A few tracks in and this is very, very good. Quite a bit heavier than their previous albums, but still just as good. I can see this being very high on my year chart, glad it's not disappointing.

EDIT- after finishing it for the first time, my early thoughts were proved to be correct. Fantastic album.
