Soundtrack tournament anyone? Each person could nominate 2 soundtracks for a total of 64 berths and any television, film or video game soundtrack could be nominated so long as it isn't in the top 1000 (I'm looking at you Purple Rain).

I'm game anyway after the current 2 finish up. _________________

Now when we're talking soundtracks, are we talking about the score of a film (e.g. John Williams' Star Wars score or Hans Zimmer's Inception score) or the soundtrack that includes songs by bands (e.g. the soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever)? _________________ 2023 Chart

I was wondering this, I guess I haven't heard many soundtracks but I will participate of the game if it happens _________________ Top 100 Hits you must hear before the u... of beauty

I'm hoping it's anything goes. _________________

I don't see why both shouldn't be included. Perhaps a good limitation would be for scores in franchises (like star wars) only one score from the saga can be nominated. This would prevent repeating overtures. But for the most part, like Patman said, anything goes.

What about soundtracks that are a collection of songs already recorded and released? Like, not songs specifically made for that movie (e.g. The soundtrack to Juno) _________________ 2023 Chart

Still anything goes I'd say. _________________

This is more difficult. Indeed, perhaps this could be considered to be unfair but I would argue that the correct choice of songs in a movie could be just as beneficial to the film as a brilliant score (just look at Garden State). So yes, anything goes.
