I must be the only one who finds theneedledrop annoying and obnoxious. But then If I had to watch Pitchfork as opposed to reading it I might feel the same.
Guess I'm a pretentious snob but I really like Pitchfork, if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have found out about some of my favorite bands. I definitely agree with them more than say Rolling Stone.
But I also recognize that many of the most highly reviewed bands on the pitchfork website just so happen to appear at the pitchfork music festival...but who needs transparency. [/i]
I love their pretentiousness. I can't explain why.
I give more credit to their lists than NME, Rolling Stone etc. Every now and then they have a shame of a review, but that's what keeps them interesting for me _________________ Having a family is the kind of thing that could be held against a person
