All the best music induces an emotional reaction. So I'd mention my favourite albums (The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady, White Light/White Heat, Trout Mask Replica, A Love Supreme, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, etc.).

I'm curious as to what kind of emotional response you get from TMR and White Light.

There's very few songs that can just like instantly and on their own get me. They include these, many though are because of who wrote them:

And the one that gets me not emotional like gooesbumps or like "wow" but like "oh i'll go die now":

Also, I can't help but feel emotion during Jeff Buckley's version of "Hallelujah".

And the last one, a Shaimus song that's really unlike them, they never actually released it on an album, it was just kinda posted on their website, and it just sounds like it's coming from a place of so much pain. A song about questioning one's existence and a song that sounds like it's coming straight from someone dealing with some serious depression. It's beautiful.

Great choices.

Couple more to add that give me goosebumps.

Halfway Home by TV On The Radio. That beat just gets into my soul and

The Three Great Alabama Icons by Drtive By Truckers. The lyrics / word (as they are spoken rather than sung, which only add to the intensity of there meaning) just drill deep into my heart. They dredy up a lot of emotion for me.

A moment that really stands out for me (among countless moments) is the bridge of Red Rain by Peter Gabriel.. "Let the red rain splash you, let the rain fall on your skin." Just wow. What a way to start an album.
