Quad by a long shot, for a whole lot of reasons. Chief among them in this case: Floyd doesn't have Entwistle!
(or Daultrey or Moon for that matter).

The Wall is probably the best double album ever.

The two are good but Quad is consistently better IMO.
It's like The Wall has stronger peaks but greatest lows; and Q on the other hand is a solid marble from start to finish on all aspects (songwriting, production, performance, coherence, etc)
At least that's how I see it (and I've would chosed TW if I was asked this same question 20 years ago tho, so maybe age has something to do with it also).

The Wall definitely has the lowest lows, but I think Quad has the highest highs as well. For me, there simply aren't any higher highs than The Real Me, 5:15,and Love Reign O'er Me.

Yes I agree. On performance level Q tops it easily except for guitar solos of course.
What I was refering as "high points" are songs that come to mind to the general public at first tought (like TW has In the flesh, Confortably, Mother, Run like hell, Another brick...) and Q doesn't have really much standout songs (maybe I should have used the word "hit") like Tommy or Who's Next have. Kind of the same that happens with Exile on main St. The total is far bigger than the separate parts.
Quadrophenia is one of those few albums that everytime I finish it I say out loud "that's it, this is the best ever done!".

I personally didn't care for The Wall too much. So gotta vote for Quadrophenia.

Really two of the most acclaimed concept albums. I love The Who, but I find it challenging to listen to Quadrophenia in its entirety, Tommy was much better IMO. The Wall is not only one of the most famous concept albums ever, it is also one of the best.
