If it was nothing new at the time, I'd like to hear who was doing it before Talk Talk and Slint.
I'd also like to know what electronic post-rock albums you're refering to, because I only know of a couple. Sigur Ros, Swans, Godspeed You Black Emperor and Tortoise are definitely the most prolific names in the genre, but I don't know anyone that would describe them as electronic.
