This is my favorite Smiths album. The first 6 songs show off such an incredible range that isn't present on any of their other albums. It kind of makes me wonder what they could have gone on to do if they hadn't broken up, but I also don't think they could have topped this just because it's so good.

Low did a cover of "Last Night I Dreamt" and sometimes I think it's even better than the original, though of course it's done in a much different style:
