Obviously you can't let fags into government, they'll just sodomize everyone with their evil fag-magic.

I don't even understand how you can ask. Of course I'd knowingly vote for a gay president, if I thought he was the best contender. As a matter of fact, I did vote once for a gay mayor. He still is the mayor actually, but he will probably never run for presidency (good thing too, I'm not keen on the job he's done, but the other candidate had to be stopped one way or another - which means I am ready to vote for a candidate who wouldn't be my first choice just to not see the opponent win, be he/she/they homo- or hetero-sexuals, whatever).

I think the question's very strange.

That group of sentences is some configuration of broken grammar and half-thoughts which are impossible to understand.

Yes. Doesn't make a difference in making the decision. I could vote for a religious one too on the same basis (that is, I wouldn't vote for a homosexual who wants to claim that the country was based on that principle, nor one who wants to try and convince children that it is important to be one).

You don't quite find a lot of hardcore homosexual fundamentalists of that variety, but the point still rings true.

Ted Heath, Prime Minister between 70-74 was almost certainly gay but nobody knew at the time so it doesn't really count.

Answer is it wouldn't bother me at all. We already have several gay politicians in the UK and last I heard it was the Conservatives who had the most, fancy that?

California anti gay marriage law rejected today:

"In striking down California's ballot initiative barring same-sex marriage, a federal appeals court rejected, among other rationales offered for the measure, the argument that it would protect children from being taught in public schools that gay marriage is the same as traditional marriage.

The 2-1 ruling on Tuesday by a panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, in San Francisco, struck down Proposition 8, the measure narrowly passed by California voters in 2008 that withdrew the right of same-sex couples to marry. The panel found the measure violates the equal-protection clause of the U.S. Constitution."

Whole story here: http://blogs.edweek.org/edweek/school_l...ation.html

It will probably go on to the Supreme Court.
