Really? Cool. That was my personal favourite. I had a lot of fun making that one. That was the only song that I did in one take...The atmosphere I used is actually the chords in the song being played on guitar with a fuckload of reberb on it... It actually put my studio's mac in a coma for a while

And what is the Sigh album like? I don't really grasp what 'avant-garde metal' can be

Sigh aren't really avant-garde, people just don't know how to classify them. In Somniphobia is a very catchy and really fun album (one song has goddamn handclaps in it!). Its hard to classify because the vocals are kinda black metal-esque, the riffs fairly poppy, but with lots of absurdist proggy keyboards and random interludes in random genres (lounge jazz section?, sudden sax solo?, Baroque harpsichord? ect.)
