I really like your way of thinking dude.

Yeah. I hate it when I pay good money for a concert, and the band has the nerve to "run over time" and play multiple encores. What complete douchebags!
I suppose I could leave, but I feel it's my civic responsibility to let them know I hate long concerts.
Just joshing with you, benpaco!!! It is kind of funny to be complaining that they played too long. LOL.

Well, I can go back to my 13-14 year likes which weren't too bad but I missed mostly all I like right now but it's obvious, I didn't start liking music till a year later or so.
Lately I think that my worst thought about music was when I heard for the first time Muse. I heard Origin of Symmetry and thought it was absolute rubbish, soon after that (weeks) I discovered that it was very good and now it is one of my top 10. I wasn't used to their music. This happened around 4 years ago.
I think I've read this several times over here but I insist on the importance of listening at an album or an artist AT LEAST 3 times before you give up with it, and don't bother about the general opinion just on what it trasmits to you.

In The Wake Of Poseidon by King Crimson
I've listened to it again after 2 years: and now I think that it is a good work actually, I still think that there are a few boring parts but it's a nice album. |
I always liked this album the song "in the wake of poseidon" is great and I don't care if it's similar to Crimson King, after all that's the type of songs I enjoy from King Crimson.

Tiny bit of context:
1 It was a "surprise lineup" situation, Demi Lovato, Train, Pitbull, and Nickelback - had I known I still would've gone, but would've tried to see if I could get out before Nickelback.
2 I was there with friends who hated it as much as me, but one of their parents had (generously!) offered to drive us into the city so we could go. They were loving Nickelback, so we had no way to leave.
3 Cancer patients and survivors were waiting backstage and stuck there, they were supposed to come out for a big thing at the end celebrating this company's generosity and legitimate care for its patients. And instead, Nickelback wanted to be the center of attention. _________________

"OK Computer? That's a really obnoxious album title. Pass."
...naturally, that didn't last forever and when I finally listened to it I felt like a moron...

I still like these songs. Just sayin'.
Also, I've found upon reviewing I gave many albums a 50/100 (which I give to what I consider "aggressively average"). Some of these albums include:
Transformer by Lou Reed
Harvest by Neil Young
For Emma, Forever Ago by Bon Iver
The Queen is Dead by the Smiths

I rate albums and charts by the American education system grading scale. I have no idea why. _________________ Pipe Dreams is a virus...

No it's not bad. I guess it can cause discrepancies. There isn't a set system for everyone to grade by so my 70 could equal someone else's 50. _________________ Pipe Dreams is a virus...
