To each their own. My distaste for Sinatra is similar to my distaste for prog -- whatever the technical skills of the artist, the bluster and arrogance tend to overwhelm my experience.

That's funny, I almost bought this album in a little hole-in-the-wall situation in Salida, Colorado just last week. Decided against it for financial reasons, but certainly not for a lack of quality. He may have outdone this with Swingin' Lovers, but only slightly. Brilliant stuff.

The sound of the strings so magically captures it's time, I wonder why we don't really get that sound in music today. I listened to this yesterday for the second time and thoroughly enjoyed it, I really ought to explore this era more.
