Unfortunately, I feel like Wilco has been in decline over the past 10 years. A Ghost Is Born was amazing, but each release since hasn't been quite as amazing. All still quite good though.
I'd say Liars. They've been on a pretty amazing run. 6 unique albums over the past 10 years. Each has seemingly challenged the band to do something new.
They Were Wrong, So We Drowned
Drum's Not Dead
Liars
Sisterworld
WIXIW

Based on their last 2 albums (haven't heard the new one yet) , the Year of the Pig EP and consistently mind-blowing live performances-Fucked Up. Great hardcore sound that is neither punk or metal, with great melodies and harmonies and really far out existential lyrical themes. Damn...I'm gonna go download the new album right now.

Deepchord Presents Echospace for all three of their albums and the side projects they're directly involved with.
Also a shout for The National who haven't really put a foot wrong since 'Alligator' and made my favourite album of the previous decade with 'Boxer'.

I disagree, The Whole Love is an amazing record in my opinion. _________________

Yeah, I actually liked The Whole Love more than Wilco The Album, but still think it pales in comparison to the run of Being There through A Ghost is Born, which is about as good as it gets. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

(Assuming 2005-2014, which knocks out Funeral...)
Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, or Tame Impala

It's definitely Animal Collective.
In the past 10 years we got
Feels
Prospect Hummer
People
Strawberry Jam
Water Curses
Merriweather Post Pavilion
Fall Be Kind
Animal Crack Box
Keep Cassette
Transversal Temporal Gyrus
ODDSAC
Centipede Hz
And that's not even counting the solo releases

"If they released a new album tomorrow, whose would you be most excited about?"
1. Maroon 5
2. Muse
3. Daft Punk
4. Train
5. Fall Out Boy
6. Bowling for Soup
7. The New Pornographers
8. The 1975
9. Arcade Fire
10. The Kaiser Chiefs
Honorable mention (singles-oriented bands that would seldom get mentioned on an Album site):
The Pussycat Dolls
Selena Gomez and the Scene
5 Seconds of Summer (they may be modeled after OneDirection, but I've liked a much higher percentage of their songs)
Also worth mentioning:
Green Day, except the 2004 cutoff eliminates American Idiot, leaving them with 21st Century Breakdown and the much-diluted !Uno Dos Tre!
