That's the feeling I got the first time.

One of the first albums I ever bought, I don't listen to it as much anymore, but it's still on my overall chart and it's still pretty damn perfect.

This is the first rock album that I liked. It still remains a favorite of mine. All of the songs in this long album are good. There is no filler IMO.

Changing tastes have seen this bounce around my chart, but there was a time on the old account this peaked at #1 for a couple weeks. One of my favorite albums to listen to while cleaning, bar none. Strange, I know. I just love washing dishes to this album. Haha.

One of the select few albums that I have on vinyl, CD and iTunes.

So very slightly off greatness, but this album has a whole bunch of bangers. Revolution Rock aside the latter half is, as Sp4ce put it, "a fucking romp".

I dunno, I don't see the greatness of it as much as you do.

Glad you guys get enjoyment from it though.

Great rock record with a lot of great songs and their best album. It is really overrated though (#12 lol) and it isn't the best punk album (it isn't even really punk) but it's still an admirable album.

Ah. I love when people try to claim that The Clash weren't punk because they were melodic and not heavily aggressive. This is just as punk as pretty much anything attributed to punk. It's a really poorly defined genre that never had much meaning besides being an insult to throw at the bands.
