Also not wanting to be a pain in the ass but johnny not all of your instrumental picks are instrumentals (e.g. MMM Skyscrapers I Love You-Underworld Echoes - Pink Floyd , and Hurricane Fight Plane-Red Krayola)
EDIT: I see you have changed your list, its great

ya it sure does...

how about hardest to listen to:
Ascension--John Coltrane
The Idiot--Iggy Pop
Sister--Sonic Youth
I say Never Mind the bullocks not because it's complex but because you will probably dislike it the first time you hear it, and end up not wanting to put up with listening to the whole thing.
Trout Mask Replica-Captain Beefheart

What do you mean hard to listen to?
Do you mean least accessible, or could they be hard to listen to because they are actually bad?

I completely disagree that Nevermind the Bollocks is one of the hardest to listen to albums. What makes it any more difficult than any other hardcore album? If anything i'd say its easier than most i mean the lyrically its very entertaining, the songs have strong hooks, and it has simple catchy melodies. I think the only reason it would be difficult is if you had never listened to punk before, and in that case any punk album would be difficult.

I think that the 3 least accessible albums that i have, meaning i still haven't been able to fully get into them even after multiple listens are:
Cecil Taylor - Unit Structures
Sun Ra - Atlantis
The Residents - Eskimo

I don't mean hard to listen to as in bad, I mean hard to listen to as in hard to understand.
What do you mean by least accessible?

The hardest albums I have ever listened to are...
1. Trout Mask Replica- Captian Beefheart (Definitely #1)
2. Plastic Ono Band- Yoko Ono (Love it though)
3. Strawberry Jam- Animal Collective (Just wierd, but so good at the same time)
4. Anything by Teenage Jesus and the Jerks
5. Raw Power- Iggy & The Stooges (The hard part about this was that the music is good, but the quality of the CD recordings are pretty hard to get through- Very Rough, very....raw.....Raw Power
