I quite like the idea behind this thread if it works out (Which hopefully it will)
Anywho, my favourite VU album...
Gotta go with The Velvet Underground & Nico, perfect from start to finish.
All 4 are extremely close however and all 4 were on my overall chart until yesterday. _________________

I agree with EyeKanFly. I don't see how this is any more organized than starting a thread for every mundane question we may have.

Anyway, since this has turned into a "Best VU Album" thread, I'll say White Light/White Heat by far, though I rather enjoy their debut, as well.

I used to hate WL/WH (just look on its page for two extremely bloated rants), now I find it quite fascinating. It oozes of heroine! My favourite album by them is probably the boring answer though, their debut.
I've thought about a question for a long time: What do you think is the most underrated Beach Boys album? My answer is Love You. But now this questsion will just be ignored, right? _________________ "The Beatles, the greatest band known to mankind." - Bismah Mughal

Well I think Smiley Smile should be rated a lot higher I guess... _________________

Hey, you like their debut more than the self-titled now? That's nice

So I have a question: What is your favourite Neil Young song? If you have a reason write that too!

Now this is a really tough question to answer. Like nearly impossible. There's so many to choose from.
I'm gonna say "Borrowed Tune" from Tonight's The Night. It's the first Neil Young that really resonated with me. Five or more years ago friends Royal Forest covered the song live and blew me away. So when I found out it was a Neil Young song, I immediately went into his discography and realized his genius.
"Borrowed Tune" is an example of Neil Young at his most emotionally fragile, as is the case with the entire album Tonight's The Night.
Aside from that "Out Of My Mind" which was released on the the first Buffalo Springfield album and "I Believe In You" from After The Gold Rush would also be very high on my list. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com
