I reckon if we're successful with a covers compilation we could eventually move onto original material (just because a compilation of original material from all of us is, I think, harder to organise and will be more all over the place).
What will be really fun is if/when we do whole album compilations, i.e. A BEA tribute to Pet Sounds or Remain In Light or Twin Infinitives.

Ya!
We should all cover an album.. but something not too difficult.. So not OK Computer or Abbey Road or anything.
ITAOTS? Has that every been made into a full cover version? _________________ Submit Your List for BEA's 2023 Film Poll!

Arcade Fire's Funeral, with no genre restrictions?

I don't mind which album (as long as it's something I enjoy), but we should definitely have free reign over what direction we take the song.

That may be a bit difficult too I love the idea though
Maybe we could do ambient and acoustic covers of Illmatic. _________________ Submit Your List for BEA's 2023 Film Poll!

Like we sing the raps? Or rap the raps?
Either way it'd be pretty hard to pull off, but I'd be willing to try.

I'd certainly be up for contributing something. I like the idea of doing a tribute album, although preferably something less revered than some of the suggestions thus far. If we can pick an album we're happy with (maybe some sort of poll made up of nominations from contributors) then count me in.

Some time ago, I made a noise-drone version of Like a Rolling Stone. I could repractice my skills if this is becoming a thing

If we each nominate an album, then each rank the nominations in order of preference (maybe top 5) then that should be fair, it would be hard otherwise deciding.
