Completely solid RNR album. From beginning to end there is not a bad track. Too bad their next albums didn't turn out the same. Probably the most badass 80's album too.

Welcome to the Jungle is easily one of the greatest hard rock songs ever recorded. Sweet Child O' Mine is damn good, as well. Aside from those two, I have mixed feelings about this album. I pretty well enjoy each individual song, and the guitar tracks are incredible throughout, but it's a little too song-oriented for my tastes, and some of the songs are just plain not very good.

And, of course, the lyrics are very, very subpar. Kind of disappointing from a band that writes some really great melodies.

It's a great album. I too spent most of my life hating GNR, they were everything bad about music in my eyes. But in the past few years I've warmed up to them a lot, this album in particular is undeniable. Favorite song: It's So Easy.

I'm partial to a bit of G'n'R, but I find them a little intolerable over the course of an album. I think they're a great singles band though.

I used to LOVE this album (awkward 15 year old). I still like it, but I find it a little cliche sometimes.
