A lower population isn't a very good excuse, The UK's population has is a 1/5 of the US's population and the amount of classic bands from the UK surpasses the USA, or at least in my opinion it does, in fact I would be interested to see if people think the USA is better or worse than the UK for music.

What is that? Do you mean Orchestras? Gustav Mahler was once in New York Philharmonic so that's for consideration!

I went with Australia. Funny for an Australian to do that.
But I have the advantage of knowing tons of good indie music from Australia, and very little from Canada.
Australia does have the best indie scene in the world however, thanks to triple j and unearthed, two programs not evident anywhere else in the world. _________________ Back after a while

This thread just proves to me that I need to be less patriotic. I didn't think I was. But looking at what Lethal said in the comment on other users thread, I think I need to tone down the Aussie-ness.
And can people stop thinking that AC/DC is the only band Australia has ever produced? Thankyou.
