Rare tour distributed mixtape Being Born Here In American Doesn't Make You An American from Cleavland based political hip-hop artist Ramauli

"A militant polemic against the injustices committed by white America in these tumultuous contemporary times. Only hip-hop album on our year-end list but it's at the top because we love rap"
-Rolling Stone

"You motherfuckers seriously need some Jeezy in your life. #realshit"

resurrecting this thread because I like this thread

Everything Amuses Me by Didier Van Cauwelaert

Ambient breakcore album from reclusive Belgian producer Didier Van Cauwelaert, featuring multiple comically pitch-shifted samples of reprehensible historical figures' speeches integrated into several tracks.

"When the Mussolini quotation jumps from a chipmunked conversational tempo to a sudden 7/8 breakbeat rush and 691 new layers of polyrhythmic excellence come into play, the atmosphere becomes so engaging I'm almost driven to momentarily pause my latest re-read of Alex Ross' The Rest is Noise just to listen in closer. Almost."
-That one kid in your intro to music theory course

"I'd call plagiarism if this weren't fucking hilarious and also if I gave a shit"
-Venetian Snares

Drone superstar Osroes I's attempt to introduce drone music to Nascar and to introduce Nascar to drone music. Race-track noises utilized in the music. Its poorly reviewed, but interviews with Osroes I reveal he is intent on releasing more in the series. When asked what compelled him to go in this direction, he remarked, "Cars go vroom vroom [...] exactly in the way that my past projects have gone vroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom [...] the connection seems obvious" A very limited edition vinyl made out of melted plastic race cars is soon to be released.
