I know it's a cliché at this point, but I don't see myself listening to anything other than In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. It's not just because it's my favorite album, but mortality and spirituality are among its main themes. My wife loves it too and it influenced our decision to have our ashes scattered together after we die. Maybe not from an aeroplane over the sea, we haven't decided yet, but something in that vein. Smile

Oh, and my second choice would be Abbey Road, mainly for the closing medley, which sometimes brings tears to my eyes.

In the aeroplane over the sea! I can't believe nobody has said it.
Regardless of the rest of the album, Two headed boy pt 2. as the closing track would be a stunning way to go out.

I was saving that one for the "ONE Album That Would Cause You To Die" thread.

I'm really tempted to say OK Computer on the basis that it's my #1 album. But I feel like Kid A would put me at ease more. I can't think of a more beautiful way to spend the last few minutes of my time here than listening to Motion Picture Soundtrack.

The longest album ever recorded, I would play it, then leave and go and do something fun.

Edit: Oh nvm I already answered the question a few pages back with similar response. Mr. Green
