Sure, it just depends where you look. In more indie communities, hip-hop is becoming more appreciated with "conscious hip-hop" and such, and pop-rap is becoming popular in teen pop circles, etc. Obviously looking at classic-rock-only audiences will bring back negative results for hip-hop. _________________

@an_outlaw, if your chart was a place, describe the physical landscape. How tall is Mount Manic; think you could climb it? |
As tall as Skidaw. I've only got to the top of Catbells once so no.

@Kiki - did you lurk on the plug.dj session and leave after a bit or were you just AFK? |
I actually fell asleep for two hours on the floor in the living room. It was a wake up call (get it!?) that I shouldn't have been getting less than 7 hours sleep every night for the past week.

We had agreed not to bring up the subject of fruity music!!! Just... I... this press conference is over!

@HazeyTwilight - what would it take for you to give up hope on all new music?

Extremely hypothetical, but if there was ever a consistently bad year for new music and it kept regressing, then that would probably lose my hope in new music. Either that or if Kanye makes another album that'll just do that for me. _________________

@RockyRaccoon - Could a robot create music as emotional as say... Elliott Smith?

@alelsupreme- what's the best thing to happen to black music since Thom Yorke?
@alabaster- when angels flap their wings, does it sound like Riverdance?
@applerill- what is the album equivelant of Freddy Got Fingered?
Starting with the a's and will work my way down alphabetically
