I'm not feeling good about Flaming Lips chances on this board (I haven't checked the score on this one before commenting) but I think their track record is pretty impeccable since 1999. Soft Bulletin, Yoshimi, Mystics, and Embryonic are probably all easily top ten albums from the years they were released.
Flaming Lips did have that terrible moment where they tried to re-create Dark Side of the Moon. But then again, that's not really FL canon, is it.

Race for the Prize is a better song than anything Sabbath produced, but Iommi had so many great riffs. In my opinion both make/made inconsistent albums
